No exercise walking for me today....at least I'm not planning on it right now. I'm in between the running around of the AM and the running around of the PM. Just enough time to get my foods logged and a bit of Christmas decorating done before I'm off running again.

This morning, I was up early to take DH to work, then back home to deal with the doggy AM chores, a shower for me and a snack, then off to drop off a couple Angel Tree gifts at church before popping in there to help stuff Sunday bulletins.

We got done extra early, so the mall would not yet be open. I just did the post-mall errands first and then went off to the mall. The Hallmark store has some great deals plus I had coupons, coupons, and did I mention....coupons???!!! Of course, on my way through the Sears store, I saw some great Lands End Polartec pullovers on closeout for just $10!! Snatched up 2 of those. I don't use them too often in the South, but when it does get a bit cooler, I tend to get chilled right to the bone, so those work great!

My foods got off to a rocky start today. My bacon strip and melon just did NOT do the trick for me. I was hungry and my stomach was complaining loudly even before I got home from taking DH to work! So, I relented and had an Atkins bar before heading back out. It pushes my total carbs higher than I'm targeting, but I've done worse. Hopefully, everything else will be balanced out enough that it will continue my downward trend.

Now, after having my typical breakfast for lunch at almost 1PM, I think I'm OK until dinner. At least I hope I am.

All those errands and walking at the mall..should help out in the long run...I had one of those hungry days yesterday..it was supposed to be nice but started raining..booo...Nice to find good deals and then have coupons to go with it..YES!!!...Enjoy the rest of your day...:O)

No need to regret the snack - you have to keep "fueled" for your busy day. You don't want to get ambushed by the Food Court.

Good morning Sandy! You are Blue! Yeah! I think you got your walking in, without walking. Good for you. I have been having a case of the "hungry tummy" lately too...must be the season I guess. Excellent score on the polartech pullovers, they are so cozy & warm & feel really good when it is chilly! I forget when the party that you were worried about is, I have a few of those coming up too, same worries for me. Best to make sure to have a salad or so before I go & a "treat" for when I get home. Helps me "be good" at the party & stick to low carb as best as possible. But, it seems that keeps me around the cheese & sausage & nuts & then you know where the numbers go!
