A year ago today I started this journey...I was so dedicated and disciplined and reached my goal weight in 5 months. Then I started allowing myself to wander...a step away, a step back, 3 steps away, 2 steps back, 5 steps away, 1 step back etc. My weight got down to 122 and now here I am at 132. I never want to go back to where I was a year ago. I have to find my dedication and discipline again. I can beat myself up (and I do more often than not) but i can also choose to pat myself on the back and realize I’m still down 25 lbs from where I was last year at this time. Thank you all for supporting me and inspiring me. Checking in here, logging my food and being held accountable is imperative to my success.

Me too, Momma. I call it livin clean and livin dirty. I lost 40 lbs livin clean (eating well, exercising, and not drinking too much). Over the past 6 months I found 15 of it back livin dirty. Keep at it. We're all only human

Your journey sounds very much like mine some years back (same weight start/same low achievement). I managed to keep it for a good while until my life lost its track (lost a job, moved back to parents, left home country, traveled for 2.5 years...). In that time, I did nothing but gain and maintain the weight around 63 kg (139p). Now, after 4 years of floating around, I finally have a place to call my own. I start a new job on Monday, I've bought a smart scale (unnecessary, but cool) and I've managed to go under 60 kg (132) for the first time since 2015. It didn't last long, unfortunately (Christmas time at SO's family) but it motivated me to give this a fair try. It's gonna be great to track it all! Happy new year :)
