There’s apparently only 2 options. The pain subsides on its own or have the gallbladder removed. At this point I just want to get the gallbladder removed.

I hope it passes, did you do a little research to see if a flush may help?? I have heard of these things on some of the websites I visit.

Oh that is terrible. I rushed a friend to emergency one time who was having a gall stone "attack". She was is SO much pain (and didn't know she had gallstones). I was convinced she was actually dying. Hope the meds help!

my dad had this and they did a sample test to see if the lazer would work and also gave him some kind of pills to see if they could break them up. I looked this up and it jogged my sad memory.
If you have gallstones that require treatment, discuss proven treatment options with your doctor, such as surgical removal, bile salt tablets or sound wave therapy. this is from the mayo clinic.
