It's the weekend, at last!

1.2 lb gain. I should lay off the keto mug cakes a bit. I think I had 2 or 3 in the last 7 days. It should be a once-a-week treat. Maybe I also slightly increased my overall calories without realizing it, e.g. adding a bit too much pancetta cubes in my breakfast, or too much cheese. I don't know, but I must be cautious so I can stop this upward trend in its tracks.

At least my blood pressure is better controlled. 110s to 120s for systolic; 60s to 70s for diastolic. This is good news as far as I am concerned and I hope it will last a while. I am sick and tired of always having to increase my blood pressure medication. I have had blood pressure issues since my twenties and I started taking high blood pressure medication 6 years ago. I have had my medication changed and increased many times since, and now I am 42 years old. I am afraid I will have to take the maximum meds a hypertensive person can take by the time I am 45 and die of a stroke or heart attack by the time I am 50.

I also had a constipation problem, but it seems to have solved itself. For the last few days, magnesium citrate supplements (in pills) and psyllium hush powder seemed to be less effective and I tried Senokot pills (I took 2). I was able to have a normal bowel movement the next morning, but boy was it uncomfortable the previous night! Worse than prunes used to be! Never taking this again! I plan on continuing the psyllium husk and the magnesium anyway because I was able to have a bowel movement yesterday and today. So that's good news!

I am so lazy that I did not exercise. I have to admit that I hate it. The zumba sessions at work are only available on a sporadic basis and I cannot go when my period is on its "heavily bleeding" phase. I tend to be a fast walker but I hate walking in my neighbourhood. I need to do some weights, I have 2 in my basement.
