it seems that my results are not in sync with my efforts. I went from minally active to working out 3 x this week. (with sweat and all!) I even had visions/hopes of losing 6 lbs... lol (talk about being unrealistic) lol. My food intake was reasonable. ah well, I have the chance to do better this week.

Working out will cause muscle gain and water retention for repairing muscle. Use tape measurements, the way clothes fit and the mirror.

You can google about the effects of starting a new strenuous workout routine. From what I’ve read, you do tend to gain but it’s glycerin and water weight. Glycerin for muscle energy and water to help heal and because those tears when you build muscle is still a trauma even if many tiny ones. 😉
