This weekend is all about getting more veggies in my diet. I'm doing decent on protein, facs, carbs (not ideal) but need more fiber (soluble and insoluble). This means more salads, fruits and add some beans...chick peas! Love em!
I sent an email to my boss at job 2 asking is tonight could be my last night. I'm over the hurdle of switching jobs and have plenty of OT on job 1 now. No need to exhaust myself.
I have a doc appt tomorrow. Gonna ask if we can kick the BP meds and perhaps the cholesterol too. I've been getting light headed again during workouts the past 2-3 weeks. This is what happened last time when I my BP lowered from the changes I was making. Fingers crossed!!
This weekend should be my last 'crammed' weekend. Especially since I can come home and prepare something for dinner instead of having it all pre-made on the weekend. This is good and bad however. When I pack all my food for the day, that is what I eat. There is no veering from the choices, cause there was no time. Now, I can get myself into trouble. Now I test my determination and make the choice of what I REALLY want. Though I have enjoyed not being swollen from fast food or sluggish and listless from gluten, I can't see voluntarily changing that.
Have my cousin's kids bday this Saturday. I know there will be next to nothing that I can eat. I think I will plan on a kick ass salad that others would be jealous of. There is no excuse to not be prepared for this..unless I work Saturday morning. If that's the case, I hit a salad bar on the way home, and use one of my own dressings. I don't care what any of them think of me bringing my own food. I'm the one who has to deal with the aftermath of eating processed foods.
Doh! Gotta get to bed early tonight. 9 hour shift and doc appt. Wish me luck on kicking the meds!!
