I have started on my journey and have found some good substitutes for my sugar addiction--fruit. I see my primary physician tomorrow and will get weighed in at that time. I don't expect any loss yet since I just started my diet on Monday. I have a huge family history of obesity and am thinking about weight loss surgery to help me stay on track with dieting. I'm going through the screening process right now and the soonest I will have the surgery will be in March 2013, so I have plenty of time to check things out and see if the surgery is for me or not. Right now I'm trying to stay below a 2000 calorie diet which is much lower than my regular eating habits per day. I should lose some weight. I see the dietician in a month and we'll see what other goals she has for me.
